The illustration was originally created through intaglio printing, using a copper plate that was acid etched. It forms part of a collection of illustrations and text from my 'Withy pots & salix piskies' story book, which formed a large part of my Jewelwithy project.

'Modern man-made crab pots have become more favoured now and with the fading withy pot craft a pisky tale unfolds. 
 
Among the leaves of willow trees shy salix piskies hide, when no human is in sight they begin to play in the withies that create the perfect playground.'
